Lorna Jappy and Amy Bruce from Andersons of Inverurie were the lead interior designers that brought this stunning show home to life. Lorna said: “We wanted to create a cosy family feel with a contemporary edge, using trend influences from the industrial boutique theme.
“Using a tonal colour palette was key to creating this look, with pops of colour to catch the eye and add character to the home.
“Texture and tone played a very important role in the interiors, so we included lots of different textures and patterns in each room. This can be seen in the window dressing, cushions, bed throws and upholstery.
“In the lounge and study we chose to have textured wallpapers as well, which evokes a cosy, snug, encapsulated feel which still felt very modern with the rustic metallic colourways.
“The ceiling lights are also stunning. I love them all but my favourites are the polished copper pendant in the kitchen/dining area, and the geometric open light-fitting in the lounge with the exposed industrial bulb. They’re very edgy and go with the underlying industrial boutique trend.
“I love patterns, so for me, the wallpapers, the printed cushions and the awesome herringbone wooden floor are my favourite features. I would love to have that gorgeous floor in my home and could definitely see myself living here.”
